  middle initial E or W or F? Obituary - Edgar F. Hammond, 59, son of the late Captain and Mrs. Samuel S. Hammond of this village died yesterday in Houton, Me. after a lingering illness. Mr. Hammond, who was an engineer on a railroad in northern Maine, had resided in Houlton for the past seven years. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 from Ruland's Funeral chapel with interment in Cedar Grove Cemetery. He is survived by a brother, Oliver R. Hammond of East Moriches, and two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Dowler of Astoria and Mrs. Nelson Terry of Plattsville, NY., also several nephews and nieces in this vicinity.
