  According to family member Andrew A. Ariens, 'Bummy' wound up being mayor of Connersville and was instrumental in having Ariens Avenue named. Ariens Avenue ran north to south, next to Dale Cemetery, which ran right through the property of Conrad Phillip Ariens. Inscription: "In honor of Bernard M. Risch Bummy 1920-1991".
