Notes - Died at Mather Memorial Hospital
Chester A Hawkins, 69, of South Setauket passed away at the Mather Hospital on Friday, September 9, at 1:30 pm. He was the son of the late Thomas W and Mary Macy Hawkins. Survivng are two daughters, Mrs. Urban Everling and Mrs. Vincent Pious, a son, James Hawkins, six grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Flora Smith and Mrs. Effie Lewis. Services were held on Monday, Sept. 12, at 1:30 pm. The Rev. James R. Osborne of Setauket Methodist church officiated. Interment was in the family plot in Oak Hill Cemetery.
